The Word
Apricity is an old word for a feeling you already know:
The Sun on your face on a cold day. Unexpected warmth. Light that doesn’t wait for perfect weather.
That is the feeling we want the shop to have: walk-in, get outfitted, leave a little lighter.
The Concept
Performance where it matters. Comfort you don’t have to explain. style that doesn’t look like a costume.
Current mix includes Vuori, Beyond Yoga, Cotopaxi, On, Topo, and Vibae, with more landing as the shop grows. If it doesn’t earn a place on the floor, it doesn’t come in.
We carry pieces we’d actually wear to train, walk, travel and live in.
The Place
Apricity lives at Del Rio Marketplace — a small shop with a tight edit, not a warehouse of everything.
Founded by Dr. Mikah Cook, DC whose work in movement and wellness on the Central coast is the reason this store exists. Her mission is to help people gear up for the life they already live, and the one they’re building.
